Set looks great, but I have one beef. I built the high gain antenna masts for the Hubble in 1978-80 and they are rectangular, not round. Rectangular because they were used as a wave guide in addition to being the structural mast. Constructed of graphite fiber infiltrated with aluminum. Because they are essentially zero CTE, they are distortion free and can guide the radio waves maintaining signal integrity.

Instantly bought ... the old one with the Space Shuttle
As someone who studied astrophysics and aerospace and who now works in space satellite mission engineering I respectfully disagree about this being less interesting than rockets and space shuttles. Those are cool but the actual mission stage I think deserves time to shine. I hope Lego has a JWST in the pipeline
Lego needs to end stickers most other alternate brands use prints.
A really beautiful, detailed set. It is a real shame, though, that the exterior is light gray instead of silver, like on the smaller version. It really should have been silver. Regardless, a great addition to my Lego Space collection.
I'm just glad that I have the Discovery Space Shuttle with Hubble telescope so I won't have to get this one.
