What I want to see is someone do a bouquet with both roses mixed in. It feels like lego wants people to buy multiple bouquet sets and mix and match them together.
My wife hates red roses, she loves pink. I was looking to do a MOC in pink but couldn’t find all the bricks in shades of pink, so Lego releasing this set is perfect!
i mean, it is probably a smart move considering people like different colour roses. it is a bit boring creatively though, but that isnt really the point of this set i think
At some point - a bouquet of red, pink and white roses will be perfect. And if you have to buy 3 sets to do it - you will have 3 dozen roses to mix and match.
honestly they should've just changed the baby breath flowers to another filler flower to atleast add some difference from the original set
Red roses may be more iconic, but a lot of people prefer pink roses, and I like the upgrades they’ve done here, even if it lowers the piece count. The two shades of pink look really good and it makes me wonder how the red roses would have looked with some dark red mixed in.
Missed oportunity to show both sets mixed together :)
Imo the reuse is fine and mostly because of where its used. People like color options and these sets are flowers, which naturally can look similar while being different colors
