I swear Lego puts more effort on GWPs and promo sets than actual retail products
Micro Ninjago City have been my favorites other than the walkman. I NEVER would have thought that I'd have a Lego one
Well, insiders points give you equivalent of 5% off which is not very much. Especially when some retailers have 25% off some of the sets. 🤷♀️ It’s usually up to the GWP for me when deciding whether to buy directly from LEGO.
Most of these feel like concepts that were too tiny to sell on their own but good enough to not be scrapped, You best believe I want that Walkman though, that one's pretty good.
These are nice, but you can only order one per purchase.
They do have a few nice ones indeed, I particularly like the 40789 Flying Moon Car and the 40786 Micro Command Center. Thing is though, you'll first need to buy quite a lot of stuff at grossly inflated RRP to earn those points. And next you'll have to buy even more to actually get one of those "free" sets. As a result, those "free"sets end up being pretty darn expensive..... (and yes, you can scan the QR codes from the instruction manuals, but that's only 20 points each, regardless if it's a polybag or the Death Star....) As long as you can get most stuff easily with 30% discount from retailers, I likely won't ever earn enough points to get anything....

Mannnn I’m still bummed I missed out on that tic-tac-toe set. I do have all of the coin operated rides though and I love those!!
