I was disappointed and alarmed by the lack of concern for animals, birds and the environment during my visit to Valencia and also Barcelona. Fireworks are loud explosives are a thing of the past in many countries.Get with the times, drones and light effects is the modern way to go and animals and the environment is not affected.
Here on the Costa del Sol, there’s been a nice cool breeze all day and it hasn’t been hot at all. More inland will of course be warmer.
It's like a bloody sauna here, in Barcelona. I'd take a dry heat any day, but I have friends in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA- EVERYTHING, is air-conditioned. Mad props for Venezuela, holding up during more than one major quake, and aftershocks to follow. The patterns of quakes are more apparent, as I predict more to come during this year in a number of countries. trump, is simply projecting his inner lack of order upon parts of the world which refuses to agree with his handlers money-laundering policies.
So disgusted about the amount of trash and lack of care...I see it more and more.
Calpe is in the Alicante province, the southernmost of the three provinces in the Comunidad de Valencia (Valencia region). It's a lovely town by the sea, but way too hilly for me (disabled) to live in! I'm about 45 minutes north by car up the coast.
Was in London a few days this week. Temperature in day 34C Nice thing temperature drops to 18-20 night. Sleep well. Back in Barcelona. 28C at night and mosquitos!!!
It was 41C in Tucson today but here's what makes it bearable. The average yearly humdity in Tucson is 28% versus Madrid where the average yearly humidity of Madrid is 61%. Today the humidity was 22%. That lack of humidity has an enormous impact on liveability. Of course it helps that our cars, homes, businesses, stores, and public transportstion is all air conditioned.😊 The Sonoran Desert in this southern part of Arizona is quite beautiful....come visit!
Comfortable here in San Diego; about 21c/70f at Noon. I was surprised how hot it’s been in Northern Spain. Strange times.
