Is this the best value "Menu del Día" in Rivas? Today on Spain Speaks, I’m visiting Cafeteria Roma, a hidden gem family-run business on the outskirts of Madrid. Because it was a hot day and I was feeling a bit under the weather, I decided to grab their incredible 3-course menu to-go and enjoy it at home!

For just €13.90, I got a full spread including bread, a drink (Mahou, of course!), and three delicious courses.

What’s on the menu today:

1st Course: Ensaladilla Rusa (Russian Salad) – one of my absolute favorites in Spain, especially with my secret addition of pickles!
2nd Course: Albóndigas (Spanish Meatballs) – tender, home-cooked, and served with a generous portion of chips.
Dessert: Arroz con Leche (Rice Pudding) – a creamy, classic Spanish finish with a hint of lemon and cinnamon.
Cafeteria Roma is a small, bustling spot where you’ll find the whole family working together to serve up traditional, fresh, home-cooked food. If you’re ever in Rivas Vaciamadrid and want an authentic local experience, this is the place to be!
