Those tiny sandwiches look more like a war ration than an actual meal. 😂 Is Rodilla subtly preparing Spain for WW3? 😂 It also is quite expensive for what doesn't look like "premium" at all. I think I'd pay more at a local deli that doesn't minimize and cut costs everywhere like some soulless corporation. I've had bigger and more filling (club) chicken sandwiches where the owner actually fills the sandwiches and isn't stingy. They're also made fresh on the spot instead of being cooled and transported.
10 Euros is a bit too much for what you were served. The Carrefour next door may have given you a better deal. The environmental charges are ridiculous, really. Could you have substituted the Coke for a, let us say, lemon tea, or other juice drink? Thanks for giving us an honest experience.

Ummm, sorry but knowing the choices available in Madrid I would have been disappointed with both the food and price. I did go into a Rodilla shop in Madrid had a look and walked back out. A good honest review Stu.

Rate my Take-away. Spanish edition. Just add fold up table and chair.
Back in the day, they made the sandwiches on the premises, they had big trays of freshly made sanwiches and croissants with tasty fillings and there was a kitchen in the back making new batches all the time, no expiry date as it was made in the day. Now it's just prepacked food, like salad bowls, pastries, and sandwiches with different fillings made somewhere else and can be sold for a few days. Reasonably edible fast food, better than McDonald's, but nothing to write home about. Viena Capellanes did the same, from made on site to packaged but they have better quality imo. Sandwichlandia and Peñasco-Rodilla had the same original concept of freshly made sandwiches and were much better but they eventually closed.
