I was in the USA and not one hotel had a European outlet. Outrageous.
Without the numerous school massacres, no one would know that there are schools in the United States.
there are around 8 billion people on this planet and you can insult 7.6 billion of them by saying "you sound like you're from the US"
It's still THE GULF OF MEXICO as far as the rest of the World is concerned.
In all honesty, any time we hear "American food", we imagine junk food. Endless cereal options full of sugar and artificial colouring, vomit chocolate and humongous portions.
"It's Americanised, I just ate at KFC!" "I literally just shopped at Aldi, NYC is so Germanised!"
They changed the Philosopher's Stone to Sorcerer's Stone because the marketing team thought that americans never heard about this concept
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was renamed in the US, Because, and I quote, "people in the USA won't understand what a Philosopher's Stone is, but they know that a sorcerer is magic". Most countries call it the Philosopher's Stone, after the artifact from the legend of the same name, but the US publisher didn't think y'all were smart enough to look up what a philosopher's stone is.
