Clueless American Takes a European Driving Test... *this is bad*

In Europe there's a "Right hand rule" it means that you have to give a way for a car that is on your right side if there're no signs on the crossroad

The questions in this test were way easier than any typical driving license exam in EU.

15:30 generally the rule is "right before left" so when there are no other signs indicating otherwise, in an "empty" intersection, the car coming from your right always has priority and you always yield if you are the car coming form the left. and at least in europe, it is indeed a very common real life situation, actually saves putting up lots of signs, if you can always default back to that rule.

In Europese countries we use less text to convey information, due to the many languages. Instead we use universal symbols that even without the text can make you understand whats being told

Swiss exams be like: a tram, a horse, a train, a bike and a tractor are on a bridge with 8 signs,…..who….?

the "stop" sign means you have to mark the stop, even when there's no other car around while the triangular one means no stop needed
