Oh my god! You killed the sandwiches! The amount you put on the bread is not considered normal ;-)
The butter is basically to stop the hagelslag from falling. That was a butter overdose.
The appelstroop and cheese should be with way less appelstroop and old cheese and no need to bake
You really should get fresh broodje haring at a street kiosk. That's the optimal way to go. And you've missed two of the best sandwiches: warme vlees and broodje beenham.
Lol, if you know the Dutch you would know ‘a generous amount’ means ‘a normal amount for most people.
You should try the herring again but from a fish vendor not from the supermarket. Its kind of like getting a salmon roll from the gas station in dutch terms.
You need the 48+ cheese not the 30+ diet one
