German bakeries are a part of the daily German culture. In Germany, there are cheap bakeries to high-end expensive specialty shops. In this video, we want to try 5 different bakeries in our area to see which one is worth it. We are comparing many different sweet and savory pastries and giving our verdict at the end of the video. Which one do you think is a good price performance ratio?

I do live in Montreal , whenever I get a chance I buy German products ; bread , salami and so on - they are superior ! . Some are imported ,some are produce by German Canadians . European products are not only tastier but healthy as well !
The Aldi bakery stuff is actually split in two categories. The cheap items are from Aldi. The more expensive items are from a regional bakery which delivers the items to Aldi. In the Saarland Region it is "Bäckerei Gillen" for example and Aldi offers some of the items they sell in their bakery shops.
I don't see any difference between Kamps and the supermarket bakers. They are both industrial bakeries, which for me stand for the demise of small local private bakeries.
This is one of the things I love about Germany. There are so many affordable AND delicious bakery products. I am always satisfied after eating a worth of 3/4 euros of Aldi fresh bakery products!
Nice video as always, when I was living in Greenwood SC, I drove often to Greenville to a german bakery, living now in Austria and can't get enough of those delicious pastries and bread here. Have a nice weekend and thanks for sharing with us.

Walnußbrot!!!! And I know some will crucify me for buying bread in Lidl, but I just love their Weltmeisterbrot for the Mohn/poppy plus various seeds.
